An artist from the beginning

I’ve been learning and practising art for over 50 years, but it was not an easy start with societal pressures first driving me along a very different path. My chance came in 1972 to go to art school and I have never looked back since. When people ask, “What kind of art do you do?”, that’s always a challenge – I often reply “DIFFERENT”. It has been a lifetime of creativity through pencil, paint, clay and bronze for which I feel blessed to have been provided with the opportunity.
